Can’t agree here. Talibans went after the drugs (forbidden by their “evil” religion) and ceased the shippings. That was one of the main reasons why USA attacked them. Russia marching into Georgia is a little far fetched but I can also understand why they would do it, to prevent from another attack BUT.. After agreeing to a ceasefire and then failing to uphold it is a test of patience, they have also set up signals to broadcast Russian media in certain Georgian towns which means they have no intention on leaving, which would be a problem. I think also that Europian NATO members ought to be more independent rather than rely on the US to call the shots, after all Russia is closer to European soil.. Personally I think if Russia do not pull out and honour the ceasefire immediatley, military action should be taken by EUROPEAN forces. Ukraine has stated "it reserves the right to bar Russian navy from returning to their base in Crimea due to the conflict and strong relations with Georgia". Although Georgia so Ive read, have started to pull out of Ossetia and are calling a ceasfire.
