When is this supposed to be voted on or passed or whatever they do to make it come to be?

  2. Echo Says:

Figures this would come. Obama will most likely expand such laws…Doubt he could do it nationally, but in today’s nation…

  3. gomerjones Says:

The idea of making another Beurocracy that has to be funded that keeps track of the ammunition you are sold is stupid. Criminals will only take the ammo and sand the code off. No more crimes will be solved, and legitimate gun owners with legal ammunition NOW will be made into criminals simply by owning ammo that is not coded. One day legal, one day a felon.
None of the benefits that are listed will ever be seen.
Professional criminals will make their own ammo or get it from someone who can make it clean. If you think meth is easy to make Ammo is being made every day by people all over the country. We melt our own lead, load our own powder and reset the primers. Criminals will be buying up tons of this equipment and selling uncoded ammo to other criminals. So what if it is a felony, so is robbing a bank. Gonna build MORE PRISONS? Cause all this will do is increase the prison sentences, and number of criminals, many of whom have committed no crime other than owning ammo that they paid for and did not use within the given time.
Think this is ONLY going to be for handguns and AK’s? WRONG they will make it for hunting weapons too. What about ammuntion like the 45 long colt that is both Rifle and Pistol ammo?
IN the end all ammo will require coding and will increase taxes, costs and make guns only available to the RICH… so you poor democrats will have to depend on the RICH to be protected.
Wake up. Democrats want a country dependent on the Government. They want poor people all over the place so that they can stay rich and have plenty of house help. If you cant buy a gun and ammo you can not rebel against their total control of government and YOUR benefits.
