Where was all the concern for our Constituion when Bush and Cheney were shredding it? Now they're worried about Obama? Yeah, right! Because he's black, and because he promotes universal health care. They all get free guns and ammo as it is, and are encouraged to carry weapons all the time. These guys are just buying up all the guns they can find to keep them out of the hands of the public. I am immediately going to report this person, and this website, to the Secret Service, the FBI, and Homeland Security as a terrorist threat! Police Commander types are usually graduates from the FBI academy have carry dual loyalties to their department and the Bureau. As such, Police Commander types are not known for expressing personally held "controversial and out of the mainstream of thought," held ideas. I think this article is bogus, at best. In 1972, early on, in my 23 year career at LAPD; I attended a training session held by Public Disorder Intelligence Division (PDID) Detectives who informed myself and all other officers present; that the 60's radical groups would be going underground, in a sense and become federally funnded community action groups and networks and receive private foundation grants from the Carnegie Trust, etc.; but that around the turn of the century and beyond, those radicals and their new followers would become part of a very virulent physical no holds barred assault and revolution against the government, the country and the American pulic! The post Rodney King crop of street cops are the new breed of order takers and lacking in self discipline, self determination and comittment to their oath of office to protect the public from only the criminal element. This new breed of street cop is not nearly as proficient with their tactical skills as those whom they succeeded. In a sense, they are "clueless" and seriously lacking skills that allow them to properly perceive and assess danger signals while on patrol. The assertion that these type of street cops are the one's who are buying the bulk of the described weapons and ordnance, given the fact that the entire national police department personnel roster tops out at less than 500 thousand officers; does not support the contention that the bulk of these weapons being sold are mainly falling into the hands of rank and file police officers. The sales figures would more likely support that law abiding citizens in the main are those to whom these weapons are being sold. One last point. The national law enforcement agencies; i.e., the police and sheriff departments; are not scheduled to have their weapons confiscated until after the FEMA government transitions into relinquishing control of the emergency goverment that replaces this current (albeit dead) constitutional government; and hands it over to the foreign occupying military forces representing United Nations control of this country. That is at best, still several years away. I also noticed on this website under the heading of "TOP Patriots" that someone has decided that Noam Chomsky qualifies to be called an American Patriot! Obama and Chomsky both espouse the same Marxist Socialist ideals! Time for a "bail out" on the brain trust at this website me thinks!
