Having taken an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America when I joined the U.S. Navy and having retaken that oath at every American Legion Meeting, I will resist any attempt to restrict my right to “keep and bare arms”.
I will give up my right to bare arms only if the Constitution is legally changed.

It is a scary bill being proposed. The good news is that it hasn’t gotten anywhere since it was put up on the Thomas Register. I would expect it to pop up after the midterm elections in 2010. I don’t think the Demopublicans will risk getting their asses handed to them.

wake up guys. the Fed will not go head-to-head with the 2nd ammend. the fix is in. the plan is to do an endrun…passing some version of national deathcare, mandating coverage, imposing penalties for those who refuse, then voiding coverage (once citizens are paying for it) if weoapons are present in the home. quit thinking up ways to convince the fox to quit stealing chickens…at some point we must face the same reality the founders faced….you either kill the fox or move the chickens. Hence Secession…it’s easier to give birth than to raise the dead.
