“Our moral backbone, the middle class”? It is this idea that has gotten us in the predicament we are in right now; the idea that we can make money by pushing pencils, using microphones, and playing games (Hollywood and professional athletics) to take money out of the pockets of the working class; the idea that we should shun to lessors the nasty task of dirtying our hands with the natural resources of the Earth and physically turning them into something useful; the idea that we are entitled to more because of our beauty, our brains or our birth.
The farmer gets $.03 from a $3 box of Wheaties. This is a 1000% tax on this working man imposed by the middle to elite classes. Think it through yourself, then decide who is the ‘moral backbone’ of this (or any) country.
