(RealNews) – Sean Smith spent a month embedded with the US Army’s 501st Parachute Regiment in June this year. With inadequate vehicles, relations with Afghan security forces at a standstill and the constant threat of IEDs, the soldiers are losing heart for a fight they feel their presence is only prolonging.

    Why does this crap always cause such a stirr. If the Afghan Army were in occupation of the US I would be blowing the sh#t outta their convoys with IEDs’. That is what happens to hostile occupiers, its not even terror, its defiance plain and simple. 3/75th Rangers- sua sponte!!!!!
