Leaked CIA Memo Shows Bush Was Warned Torture Methods Are War Crimes

April 20th, 2012

(RussiaToday) – A leaked CIA memo reveals Bush was advised that the torture techniques he authorized the CIA to use are felony war crimes and chose to use them anyway.

Water boarding and stress positions… just two of the torture techniques used by the U.S. against terror suspects. Now, a secret memo has been leaked which brands them “war crimes”, and shows the Bush administration was warned against their use.

The US has even sought war crimes charges against other nations for using the same torture techniques that the US is using.

While many feel President Obama isn’t doing enough to make up for America’s past mistakes the truth be told he has hindered 100s of legal cases seeking retribution against the use of torture.
