Mayodan town council refuses town resolution to Nullify NDAA
July 9th, 2012
Note: The town Resolution that was rejected by Mayodan can be viewed here (PDF).
(USWGO) – The Mayodan Town Council will not consider the town resolution drafted by The Intolerable Acts Legal Team. The resolution was to get the town of Mayodan to protect it’s citizens rights to a Article III court trial in the Constitution.
The reason for the town refusing to consider the resolution is pasted below in an email sent from Michael Brandt the Mayodan town Manager.
Mr. Hill-The Town Council of Mayodan has received your second request to adopt the Resolution concerning US House Bill 1540 “National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2012 (NDAA)”.
After a review of the resolution and considering the fact that the Town of Mayodan has no jurisdictional authority regarding National Defense, with the implied exceptions as necessary for local public safety, the Council will not be placing your resolution on the July 9, 2012 Town Council agenda.
Your resolution specifically states that the Town Council determines and finds the act to be unconstitutional. Even if the individual Council members were to agree, it is beyond the authority of the Town Council, as a body, to adjudicate that a Federal law is unconstitutional. Furthermore, your resolution requires the Chief of Police to develop policies to implement the resolution; again, this is beyond the scope of local law enforcement to counter-man an act of Congress.
The Town of Mayodan is a small local government charged with providing local services to its citizens. It is not the role of the Town Council to act on resolutions such as those you have drafted regarding actions taken by the Federal Government. It is appropriate for individual citizens to voice their concerns and petition their government officials if those citizens feel that a law is unconstitutional. Your complaint, however, is with the federal government; therefore your concerns should be directed toward the federal government and your federal elected officials.
You have the right to continue to attend Town Council meetings and you may continue to sign-up to speak under “public comments” for your 3 minutes of speech as allowed and protected, under both local policy and state law.

Of course there is a very slim chance and possibility it may have been sabotaged due to all the bad press surrounding NC Senator Phil Berger lately due to him taking no action on the Nullify-NDAA petition, refusing to simply state that he will vote yay on HR982 state house bill when it reaches the senate floor due to the petition, and the fact that Phil Berger on record is campaign funded by a fraction of the six mega banks that dominate America. Philip Edward Berger is also the Mayodan town attorney so every town resolution has to be approved by him before it can be considered by the town council. So if there is a chance the town resolution was sabotaged on purpose using political power then it proves it is a conflict of interest for somebody drafting and voting on legislation to also be a town attorney since the town attorney could reject what he/she doesn’t like.
If it wasn’t sabotaged then this means that the town of Mayodan has chosen to not protect their citizens from the forced abduction, rape and torture, and even murder of political dissidents or just any citizens that government pedophiles/criminals wish to target that are simply accused of terrorism whether there be any evidence of this fact or not. Also this means that the Town of Mayodan has refused to listen to the petition signers all over Mayodan including somebody from Charlies Soap Factory, and a fraction of businesses all over Mayodan including a expensive Italian restaurant. The Town of Mayodan isn’t representing the people same as the state government, federal Congresspeople, and the careless county commissioners of Rockingham County that just on their butts and could care less if the people that elect them get tortured by FEMA, the DHS, and/or Government hired pedophile rapists.
Michael Brandt has pretty much admit that the town will likely work with Homeland Security if it is “necessary for local public safety” isn’t that wonderful while doing nothing to protect their citizens Constitutional rights to a court trial. Mayodan really cares about our public safety while I can get raped and tortured in a human size furnace in a FEMA Camp before the U.S. government burns me in the future, and the town will likely just say “I’m sorry Brian got raped and tortured but it’s outside of our jurisdiction so we can’t protect him from rape and torture by military police.” Mayodan has sold out to the enemy of America, the Bilderberg Group, to the Rand Corporation, to Northcom, to the new Nazis. Mayodan also receives federal grant money from our recordings of the town council meetings. That is likely why they rejected the town resolution as well because Mayodan and Madison receives a good amount of federal grant money and by challenging the NDAA they would lose their precious federal grant money.
Jeff Lewis was not happy about these turn of events and wanted Michael’s reply forwarded to him so he can see what he can do about this situation.
The town should have considered this resolution on the fact that we all have to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution and the NDAA violates a majority of areas within the U.S. Constitution and even the North Carolina State Constitution and other state Constitutions. The NDAA is basically a Unconstitutional and unlawful usurpation of power to a small branch of federal power grabbers.
In fact they didn’t deny they could work with Homeland Security to round me up if it was for the public good. Just like the towns that didn’t stood up to Adolf Hitler before he killed all Jews and their little children.
I say next election to not vote for Michael Brandt for Mayodan Town Manager. We have cowards in the state government, county commissioners, and even the small towns.
The whole countries Government structure was suppose to be using the Locke System where the Federal Government has the least amount of power over our lives and that the town/city councils would have the most power since any citizen can easily walk to their council building to challenge the by-laws instead of being forced to travel hundreds to thousands of miles just to get to the U.S. capital building then to be told by the Congressional staffers that they cannot even see their senators and Congresspeople without a appointment. Better Representation is in less centralized form of Government. The current system we have now is the Federal Government has power to control our lives including what we can eat, drink, buy, and what human activities are allowable without a fine or prison sentence. The current system is that the Federal Government and beyond (United Nations) controls our lives while we feel not represented since the only way to affect change is by massive protests and outrages for days and weeks on end. I am sure Locke would be disappointed in our current system of governance.
Also if you wish to explain to them why this town resolution is legal and should proceed you can call any of the town council members below:
