FIOA Docs Reveal Feds Forcefully Drugging Prisoners

(RussiaToday) – FOIA documents obtained by Truthout reveal the US government is forcibly giving prisoners pills and injections of unknown medications.

For years, current and former prisoners at US government military sites, as well as their attorneys, have complained that they were forcibly given pills and injected with unknown medications.

Often, they alleged that this happened during or immediately prior to interrogation sessions while being jailed indefinitely without trial or charge.

And now, thanks to a Freedom of Information Act Request filed by Truthout, a report from the DOD’s deputy inspector general has confirmed much of the allegations made by the prisoners and their attorneys.

RT’s Alyona talks to Jason Leopold, lead investigative reporter for Truthout.org about what the FOIA exposed.
