Government Increases Classification for ‘Transparency’? – Abby Martin

(RussiaToday) – In the ever expanding national security complex, the cost to “protect secrets” is skyrocketing. The Information Security Oversight Office just released its 2011 report outlining how much its costing US taxpayers to classify government documents, and just over the last decade the amount has doubled to over $11 billion. Meanwhile, the director of the report justifies the spending by saying its necessary to maintain government “transparency.”
