Congress Sells Your Privacy To Corporate Interests Again

(RussiaToday) – The endless effort for Congress to control the Internet has failed time and time again, but a bill that gave hope to many seeking cyber privacy was shot down by Congress.

This only after two Senators received a letter from several organizations like the American Bankers Association that claimed the bill would make it harder for the government and companies to share information.

The bill needed 60 votes to pass, but fell short.
