The Inconvenient Truth About The Iran-Contra Affair

(RussiaToday) – Twenty-five years ago one of the Iran-Contra affair was one of the scandals to rock American politics and here’s the hidden history the media won’t tell you.

In the 1980′s, the US was selling weapons to Iran and pumping money into Nicaragua to support rebel forces, but the scandal which took place during the Reagan administration has been forgotten by many Americans.

Robert Perry covered the matter back in 1980s and he joins RT’s Liz Wahl to talk more about the situation.
