A group of American hackers who once worked for US intelligence agencies including the NSA helped the United Arab Emirates spy on journalists in the UAE, Britian and the United States, a new report by Reuters found. “Project Raven” was originally created in 2009 to allegedly crack down on terrorism and monitor militants in the Middle East. However, the project expanded to spying on several figures critical of the Emirates government.
