(LandDestroyer) – The latest supporting evidence that Zbigniew Brzezinski fears of a “global awakening” were well founded comes in the form of a vaccine boycott in Ukraine.
According to the Associated Press report, “Vaccine scare in Ukraine threatens health:”
“Hundreds of thousands of fearful Ukrainians have refused vaccines for diseases such as diphtheria, mumps, polio, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, whooping cough and others this year, according to official estimates. Authorities have canceled a U.N.-backed measles and rubella vaccination campaign funded by U.S. philanthropist Ted Turner, and will have to collect and incinerate nearly 9 million unused doses in coming months.”

Russia has cut off all natural gas supplies to Europe via Ukraine as the dispute over supplies and prices continues.

MOSCOW – Russia’s gas monopoly Gazprom says it has cut all gas supplies to Ukraine after talks on a new supply deal failed.
Gazprom spokesman Igor Volobuyev says the cuts began as planned at 10 a.m. (0700GMT and 2 a.m. EST) Thursday.
A spokesman for Ukrainian gas company Naftogaz has confirmed a steady drop in supplies.
There are fears that a cutoff could lead to a replay of a January 2006 gas crisis. Read the rest of this entry »

The U.S. is planning to set up military bases in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, according to Russia’s head of the General Staff. He said Washington already has forces in Bulgaria and Romania that can become operational within hours, raising concern in Moscow.
Speaking at the Academy of Military Science, General Nikolay Makarov also pointed out that the U.S. is prompting Georgia and Ukraine to join NATO. Read the rest of this entry »
