‘One word can make a difference’ – Ron Paul on US-China trade war talks
Donald Trump has said that trade negotiations between the US and China will resume ‘very soon’, following two ‘positive conversations’ with Beijing over the weekend. Bear in mind, that announcement came after both sides imposed additional import tariffs on each other’s goods on Friday.
While China hasn’t confirmed that talks will take place, its Vice Premier, Liu Hay, stressed on Monday that Beijing is committed to resolving the dispute. He said ‘that the trade war is of no benefit to anyone’.
