The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau has announced that he intends to enact some aspects of the federal Emergencies Act, as Canada continues to ratchet up its response to COVID-19 which has caused the term “emergency act” to trend on twitter…meanwhile an even more sinister act know as the “quarantine act” has largely gone unnoticed despite the fact that it can potentially give the Canadian government abilities to carryout what some would say is tantamount martial law.
