(AdamKokesh) – As many of you know, Adam Kokesh was arrested on July 9, 2013 at his residence in Herndon, VA. The US Parks Police, aided by the local Herndon police force and a coalition of other agencies raided and ransacked Adam’s home. They provided a warrant only after they had taken Adam into custody and had completed an extensive search. (WashPost) – Police searched the Northern Virginia home of activist Adam Kokesh Tuesday evening and took him into custody on a charge of being in possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms while also having a gun, authorities said.
Kokesh, a former Marine, was held overnight at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, charged with possession of schedule I or II drugs while in possession of a firearm, said Lt. Steve Elbert, a spokesman for the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office.
Kokesh refused to be fingerprinted or arraigned, or to speak with court officials on Wednesday morning, said Nancy Lake, Clerk of the Fairfax County General District Court. Read More Here

According to charging documents, authorities seized the shotgun apparently used in the video, as well as half a dozen other weapons.
They also confiscated hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Friends say Kokesh is not so much a gun rights activist as a staunch libertarian.
“I was here, and I loaded a shotgun on Independence Day, but I didn’t kill anybody. I didn’t drone any children,” Kokesh said Monday. “I didn’t steal any children’s future. I didn’t sell this country into debt. I didn’t do any of the crimes that the man two blocks over at the White House is responsible for.” Read More Here
(CNN) – Police search home of pro-gun activist Adam Kokesh
Police searched the suburban Washington home of Iraq veteran turned pro-gun activist Adam Kokesh late Tuesday.
Kokesh recently made headlines with his July Fourth YouTube video, in which he loaded a shotgun in the middle of Freedom Plaza in Washington.
He also used Facebook to call for an armed march in Washington for the same day, but called off the event in May. It is illegal to carry firearms in the District of Columbia.
“We did execute a search warrant on the residence (of Kokesh)” Park Police spokeswoman Pamela Smith said. “It is still an ongoing investigation.” Read More Here

How nice of the police to tell the media before we got raided…
Here you can see where the feds busted down our door and threw a flash bang grenade into our otherwise peaceful home. Have they no shame? Have they no decency? Have they no respect? I don’t think so but I can only hope for personal remorse for all of the scum bags that were a part of this raid.
