Jones is fictionalized as “Daniel Baily,” the patriot movement leader who tries to prevent the U.S. government from carrying out a false flag terror attack on Los Angeles.

Can you imagine FOX News, as it called CNN to get a character reference for Glenn Beck? What do you suppose CNN would report?

Well, they would likely tell FOX that Glenn was good at following orders, toeing the “station line” and reporting what he was asked to do. For CNN, that would be the “liberal line”. Did he do a good job? Would CNN tell FOX he was great for CNN? Or, would they say, well Glenn became too “Republican” for our liking, and so we realized he had to go. Kind of like Lou Dobbs? Words cannot substitute one’s own realization of the truth. Jones admits he feels powerless and a failure for not being able to convey the magnitude of the reality in which we live.

For some, it is argued, that accepting the big picture means accepting that the entire world as you know it is “wrong”, a lie, and for that reason people are not willing to look at the big picture. So divorced from reality is the American political conversation, it becomes necessary to defend the good name of socialism by explaining that no such thing exists in the U.S. In fact, the United States government does less for its citizens than most of the rest of the world’s developed industrial nations.

“More of the rich stay rich and more of the poor stay poor here in the US.”

Glenn Beck and other far right multi-millionaires are claiming that the US is hot on the path towards socialism. Part of their claim is that the US is much more generous and supportive of our working and poor people than other countries. People may wish it was so, but it is not.

In my article ”Saying Yes to the Party of No,” I commented on how pleased I’ve been to see Glenn Beck talking about a subject I’ve been writing about since the late seventies: a government-declared state of emergency leading to a ”temporary” dictatorship.

I have long believed that the mathematics of an insatiable entitlement society in the U.S. guarantees a runaway inflation, which likely would be followed by anarchy and chaos – a perfect excuse for government to resort to strong-armed totalitarian measures to ”restore order.” My model has always been Germany’s Weimar Republic in the 1920s, where runaway inflation brought Adolf Hitler to power.
