(ActivistPost) – It has been reported that 46 states are on the verge of bankruptcy. Since states are Constitutionally mandated to balance their budgets, and do not possess the ability to print money, they’re finding themselves in a critically weakened position to challenge the Federal Government.
In our republic, states have sovereignty to create and enforce their own laws as long as they don’t violate the U.S. Constitution. The Tenth Amendment gives states the freedom from Federal laws and regulations if they deem them to be unconstitutional.
The Tenth Amendment: which makes explicit the idea that the Federal government is limited only to the powers granted in the Constitution, is generally recognized to be a truism. States and local governments have occasionally attempted to assert exemption from various federal regulations, especially in the areas of labor and environmental controls, using the Tenth Amendment as a basis for their claim. (WashingtonPost) – Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday that if the federal government fails to stop Arizona’s controversial immigration law from taking effect, it may launch a second legal challenge to combat any racial profiling that takes place.
The Obama administration is suing Arizona over the state law, set to take effect July 29, which would make it a state crime for a person to be in the country illegally. It requires local law enforcement during all “lawful stops” to question a person about his or her immigration status if there is “reasonable suspicion” that the person may be an illegal immigrant.
In its July 6 court filing, the Justice Department argued that the Arizona law is unconstitutional because the power to set immigration policy and enforce it resides with the federal government and not the states. Read entire article

(Infowars) – Why is the President ignoring the Constitution and the outcry of the people to control the southern border? Why has he allied himself with Mexican President Felipe Calderon against Arizona’s legislative action to hopefully stop the invasion? It makes little sense until you understand his intent is to ram historically unpopular amnesty legislation through Congress. Obama told Arizona Senator John Kyl privately: “If we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform,” blanket amnesty.
Outraged, Kyl characterized the President’s position on the border situation as “holding hostage” to push his amnesty package. All in spite of popular anti-amnesty sentiment, increased border violence, threats against border county Sheriffs and other law enforcement, resulting in the closing of state parks and border areas considered too dangerous for Americans to enter. So what’s going on, why this unconstitutonal federal stance and violation of Arizona’s 9th, 10th, and 11th Amendment sovereignty? Read the rest of this entry »
(Jurist) – The conservative “states’ rights” mantra sweeping our country has led to one of the most egregious wrongs in recent U.S. history. New legislation in Arizona requires law enforcement officers to stop everyone whom they have “reasonable suspicion” to believe is an undocumented immigrant and arrest them if they fail to produce their papers. What constitutes “reasonable suspicion”? When asked what an undocumented person looks like, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, who signed SB 1070 into law last week, said, “I don’t know what an undocumented person looks like.” The bill does not prohibit police from relying on race or ethnicity in deciding who to stop. It is unlikely that officers will detain Irish or German immigrants to check their documents. This law unconstitutionally criminalizes “walking while brown” in Arizona. Read the rest of this entry »

Update: We are now at a stage where the House and the Senate must merge their ideas on their healthcare bills into one. If you would like the pdf. for these bills find them online. The FACTS in this video on bill H.R. 3200 still hold true in comparison to the House and Senate bills which have been passed, unfortunately. The House bill passed with a stipulation that will not fund abortion with our scarce and hard earned money. The Senate bill is worse and does intend on killing babies with our scarce and hard earned money. These two bills will be merged together and it is my common sense guess that they will go behind closed doors and merge these bills together with the forced option to fund abortion using YOUR money. Please people PRAY that this whole thing will miraculously get shot down. And know this, that no matter what way it passes, abortion funding or not, HEALTHCARE WILL NEVER BE FREE!! We will be forced to purchase it and those who do not or cannot purchase it will be fined or jailed. What a caring government huh? Even in our sick economy (caused by this same government might I ad) we will be expected to purchase this. No matter what, you better believe that with everything else these Washington thugs do, they will go behind closed doors and do whatever they choose to do. AMERICA IT IS TIME TO TAKE ACTION!!
Healthcare is only a powerful stepping stone to their government takeover plan. Open your eyes America, they don’t care what “we the people” want or need, which is affordable and decent healthcare, they simply want control.
Original Bill (Video) :This is a point by point description of the Government Healthcare plan taken from the ACTUAL proposed bill H.R.3200 http://docs.house.gov/edlabor/AAHCA-B… which is on the way to the house floor. Though not opposed to healthcare reform most Americans do not want this KIND of reform which is a dangerous UN-AMERICAN UNCONSTITUTIONAL We want reform that makes sense and that is helpful for all not a destructive death warrant for the unborn and the elderly. We want government to stay out of our personal life decisions period. This is America !!

There’s a controversy brewing in Texas. It is a controversy over secession or what some are calling nullification. Some see only secession as the end to government intrusion in our lives while others more hopefully believe that the union should remain intact and that the tenth amendment can be used to force the federal government to revert back to its rightful role. Both are probably right, but for different reasons. Read the rest of this entry »

The November 22 End the Fed rallies raise a vital issue: it is past time to abolish the unconstitutional, illegal, and failed institution known as the Federal Reserve System, the privately owned central bank which has been looting and wrecking the US economy for almost a hundred years. In 1901 the national debt of the United States was less than $1 billion. It stayed at less than $1 billion until we got into World War I. Then it jumped to $25 billion.
The national debt nearly doubled between World War I and World War II, increasing from $25 to $49 billion.
Between 1942 and 1952, the debt zoomed from $72 billion to $265 billion. In 1962 it was $303 billion. By 1970, the debt had increased to $383 billion.
Between 1971 and 1976 it rose from $409 billion to $631 billion. The debt experienced its greatest growth, however, during the 1980s, fueled by an unprecedented peacetime military buildup. In 1998, the outstanding public debt will roar past $5.5 trillion. Read the rest of this entry »
