Lucas Koerner: ‘The situation on the ground has been mostly calm’

VA teamed up with Tatuy TV to cover the International Peoples Assembly which took place in Caracas from February 24-27.

Venezuelan popular movements were also present during the recent International Peoples’ Assembly in Caracas (February 24-27) Wildeny Matos, from El Maizal Commune, told us about the importance of this event and its implications. Zwelohlanga Ndiki from The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa spoke to Venezuelanalysis during the International Peoples Assembly in Caracas (Feb. 24-27) about the need for the working class to organize against imperialism. The International Peoples Assembly took place in Caracas in late February, with 500 delegates from 85 countries. VA teamed up with Tatuy Tv to get opinions on what’s currently at stake in Venezuela. Italian journalist and activist Geraldina Colotti participated in the recent International Peoples Assembly in Caracas. She talked to VA and Tatuy TV about the weakened state of the left in Europe and the sent a message to the Venezuelan people.
