Today 11 April 2019 Julian Assange has been arrested by the London Metropolitan Police inside the Ecuadorean Embassy. Subsequently it has been revealed by the US Department of Justice that he will be subjected to extradition to the United States to face federal charges of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion.
